I could tell this app was good when it took longer to download than others. That means it has longer samples.

I deleted this app immediately as it has a constant prominent beat of either 5 or 6, very few adjustments and I drum and chant to it.. sounded very electric... awful to listen to! I gave it one star .. if I could give it a negative 20 I would. TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY!

Slightly more interesting than iTablas drone, and nowhere near as complex as Shrutibox. It doest run in background (yet) and has just one tamboura at a time. Negates most advantage. Limited adjustment. An early update would be good

Excellent App where time-immemorial musical culture fuses with technology seamlessly. Its user friendly and is readily useable by laymen musicians, while having all the necessary features. Sound quality mimics a real thambura - if one hears from a neighboring room, you can easily mistake it for a 5 real instrument. The screen saver feature is thoughtful. I look forward to many more innovative features in the updates, and also great products from the developer.

This is a perfect Indian drone - sounds like it was recorded with the real deal, not just some electronic imitation. You can tune it to any key, and the sound quality is excellent. I wish I would have had this years ago, instead of the typical sound libraries you get with most audio programs.

I have been using this app for 2 months now. I like that it is simple but precise. We use it almost everyday now.

I have been looking a tanpura/shruti box app that is the best in quality and easy for carrying with me anywhere. Tried using all other tanpura apps. Even spent more than $25 for an app. I am so happy that finally the makers of real tanpura has given me what I want In a very reasonable price. The quality and precision is appalling. Its like having a real tanpura with you all the time in your handbag or pocket. Great app! I recommend all Carnatic music leaders and lovers to buy it.

Very simple to use and has the right functionality. I have been looking for one for a long time and this one truly has all the required features and comes at a very reasonable price point.

This is a wonderful app. Unlike many of the electronic units that sound, well, electronic, this tanpura app gives a sound that is very close to the acoustic instrument. Unlike the acoustic instrument, though, it is very easy to change sruti, introduce madhyama and nishadha. It sounds absolutely beautiful when connected to an amp. It has a lot of features for the price. I do believe that this app is a must-have for every musician, professional or amateur. My infant son loves it too...he sleeps to its drone!

Fantastic app

This is an excellent app that is very well-designed, easy to use and complete in the features it offers. The reset button is a comforting feature. All in all, a very nice app. It is offered at a great price, and is a steal when compared to the significant amount one has to shell down for a standard Shruthi box. Excellent job by Haathi Software.

It is an extremely useful and handy tool for music lovers. The sound is very authentic and pleasing. Convenience without compromise. Love the screen saver feature too.

My only disappointment is that there isnt a sixth star to award!

Really easy to use. Simple interface thats elegant and thoughtful. And the sound quality is just plain amazing!

I am a Bharatanatyam dance teacher and use this app along with professional musicians for the live orchestra that accompanies the dance recital - the sound quality of the app is excellent, and true to the real acoustic instrument. Even sounds great when amplified to theater speaker levels. And I love how simple it is to use!

I know I will be finding many ways to use this fine app, including recording, practicing percussion with a drone background, or simply meditation/relaxation. Superb! Warm sound quality and rhythmic/tonal variability. Thanks!
