Extremely useful and easy to use, I have been looking for an app like this for ages, and finally found one that has exceeded expectations.

This is a wonderful app- perfect for teachers, students, performers! In todays busy and mobile world, this app on the iPhone/iPad is a boon. I would recommend this to every Carnatic music lover. And I am sure others musicians would find this helpful too. Thank you!

This is an awesome tanpura a must for all musicians and music lovers. Sound quality of the Shruti is extremely good. Highly recommend it.

Downloaded this app recently on my Ipad, has already been used at local performances, and day to day practice. Very convenient, great value for price, and musically pitch perfect. No need for carrying the sruti boxes around any more. Thanks!

I have used several e-Tanpuras and this one is by far the best. Wonderful, pristine sound quality, I love it. Great job Haathi Software!

This app is pretty limited as these things go. I think iTablaPro sounds just as good and has a tempo adjustment which is critical. (Plus you get all the tablas, etc.) Please add a tempo control other than slow, medium and fast amd it may be more usefull. Audiobus would be helpful as well.

Its a great app and there is absolutely no doubt about it. I will recommend it any day to my friends and foes ;) But an updated version can be built so the drone is active when exiting the app or when accessing other apps. There could be an option in the settings to turn on or off this option when exiting the app. Great job otherwise!

I have been using this app for the last 1 year. Excellent quality, very useful app..I highly recommend.

The frequency of the last string played, needs to be fixed. Its really off the note. It cannot play in the backround, but, if the notes are not proper, it misguides the musicians.

Someone else also brought this up and I took a chance anyway. I was sorely disappointed. There is an alien note, quite distinct and distracting not to mention very off- key. And yes not being able to run in the background means more power hungry. Ill have to write this one off until the developers get their act together and push a worthy update. Till then its the digital equivalent of paperweight.

The fault is on me, but I was looking for a simple drone app that just sustains one note. I should have done a little more research before I purchased. If you update with a function to sustain one note, Ill rate five stars!
